We began digging deeper into solar energy with Legos. We are currently building a solar powered Ferris wheel. We will use it to investigate the advantages and disadvantages of solar energy. We will then build solar cars and lifts. In our exploration we will calculate rotations per minute (RPM) and work done (work done/joules = Force (N) x Distance (m) moved in the direction of the force).
